RakingPix Privacy Policy

Overview
RakingPix is a Chrome extension developed by JopDev that helps users find, filter, organize, rename, and download images from the webpage they are currently viewing.
Information RakingPix processes
RakingPix processes information from the active webpage when you choose to scan it. This may include the page URL, page title, domain, image URLs, image dimensions, image metadata, source type, and alt text.
This webpage information is used to provide the extension's image scanning, filtering, preview, organization, naming, and downloading features.
Account information
If you create a RakingPix account, we process your email address and authentication information so that you can sign in, verify your email, reset your password, and access account-based features such as RakingPix Pro.
Passwords are not stored in plaintext. Password processing occurs on the RakingPix backend and only derived password credentials are stored.
Google sign-in
RakingPix may optionally allow you to sign in using Google. Google sign-in is only initiated when you explicitly choose that option.
Payments
RakingPix Pro purchases are processed through Stripe. Stripe processes payment card information. RakingPix does not store your full payment card number.
RakingPix may store transaction and entitlement information needed to determine whether your account has access to Pro features.
Email delivery
RakingPix uses Resend to deliver transactional emails such as account verification and password reset messages.
Local extension data
RakingPix stores certain information locally in Chrome, including preferences, filters, selections, naming and folder settings, tutorial state, theme settings, scan sessions, authentication state, and cached entitlement information.
Analytics and tracking
RakingPix version 0.1.0 does not include custom analytics or telemetry. RakingPix does not maintain a historical log of your browsing activity.
Advertising
RakingPix version 0.1.0 does not currently use an external advertising or tracking provider.
Third-party services
RakingPix relies on service providers including Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, and Google where applicable. These services process information as necessary to provide backend hosting, payments, transactional email, and optional Google authentication.
Data selling
JopDev does not sell RakingPix user data.
Security
Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect account, authentication, and entitlement information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as RakingPix changes. The updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
